I was only in Jamaica for six hours, as it was part of a cruise, but i still managed to make the most of my time. Instead of going to the popul ar Dunn's River Falls, I took a chance and went to the Blue Hole instead. The Blue Hole is a series of waterfalls and cliffs where you can jump off of each one. The excursion was extremely exhilarating and I would recommend it to any thrill seeker. My favorite part was the last jump, the biggest one which takes your breath away. The excursion site also has swimming holes and rope swings for the less adventurous. The water is crystal clear and cool, which feels great in the hot Jamaican sun. I lucked out with the best driver and best tour guide in the world. Next time I'm in Ocho Rios, there is a good possibility I will go to the Blue Hole again, rather than trying something new. When booking excursions in Jamaica, I recommend finding a local company to tour with rather than using your cruise line booking site. On Carnival Cruise Line's shore excursion website this excursion was roughly $100 per person. I booked with Karandas Tours and paid $35 per person. Both company's offer the same exact excursion and Karanda's is the same time length.
